Taso Advisory is a public policy consultancy with a particular expertise in digital technology across the UK and the EU. We work with some of the most exciting technology businesses in the world, from listed businesses to fast-growing scaleups. We pride ourselves on giving valuable commercial advice to clients who come to us for support on the issues that matter most to them.
We work with our clients to understand and manage their policy, regulatory and political challenges and opportunities. We spend our time thinking about and working on areas such as content regulation, digital competition, data protection, artificial intelligence, the gig economy and more. We make sure our clients know what’s going on, what it means for them, and how they can best prepare for and engage with it.
We are a young and growing consultancy, with our primary office based in London. We are building a business for the long term, and colleagues have significant room to shape and grow the business and their careers.
About the role
This is a senior role with significant opportunity to help build a fast-growing business. It will suit someone who loves tech policy and the politics behind it, and loves applying their insight to commercial challenges. If you like thinking about the future of tech policy and digital regulation, this is the place for you.
You will work across client accounts, working on your own and with colleagues to deliver tailored and high quality advice to clients.
Client management - Our clients are smart people working on thorny issues at brilliant companies. You’ll provide clients with both strategic and tactical advice, and inspire their trust. You will be responsible for ensuring that our clients’ needs are met, and that their businesses can continue to succeed.
Tech expertise - You will be a subject matter expert in tech policy. You will be able to advise clients and colleagues on the policy and politics behind content regulation, competition, data protection, and more. You’ll enjoy debating what the latest consultation or inquiry says, and what it means for businesses.
Business development and growth - We want to give tech policy and politics advice to more brilliant clients. You’ll play a key role in identifying new business opportunities and showing those prospects why we’re the people to help.
About you
You will be one of the first of the Taso Advisory team “on the ground” in Brussels. You will know the market, and will relish the opportunity to build our business in the EU. There will be a number of clients to get to work on straight away.

New business wins are incentivised with uncapped commission.
